Banding for a sustainable world
Less waste, less plastics, less material
Sustainable bundling, labelling and/or sealing, with just a strip of paper or film. It is possible with Bandall banding machines. The word sustainable takes on a real meaning. Not only because you can easily save 80% of packaging material, but also because you are working with a very sustainable organization. Bandall is playing its part, worldwide. For over 30 years.
What is banding?
The sky is the limit
Banding is the process where one or multiple products are wrapped with a thin band of paper or film. This is done by using a banding machine. An efficient technique for applications such as bundling, labelling or sealing. The band can be used both printed and unprinted. With a wide range of banding machines and additional options, an infinite number of applications is possible in almost all markets.

Banding machines
› Stand Alone banding machines
› Fully Automatic Banding
› Stacking and bundling machines
› Modular banding machines
› Multi-head machines
› Tailor-made banding machines
Which machine fits your situation best, depends on your product specifications, your production process, and your wishes. All our machines use our unique Ultra Clean Seal system and our vacuum feed system. These systems ensure a fast and trustworthy band transport with the least amount of wear parts as possible.
Stand Alone banding machines
The Bandall Stand Alone banding machines are available in many versions. They all have one thing in common. They are based on the successful standard model. The machine has a modular structure and is known for its flexible, durable, and highly reliable performance. An almost endless number of options such as stainless steel, Multi-Width, printer, positioning system, or press make the Stand Alone extremely versatile. With a constant focus on innovation and support, the machine meets the wishes of clients and the industry.
Standard model
The Bandall Stand Alone consists of standardized modular components. As a result, the machine can be delivered quickly and easily, completely tailored to your wishes. The machine is standard available in various arch sizes and is suitable for 28, 40, 48, 60, 75, 100 and 125 mm wide banding material. Different widths are also possible upon request. With the Multi-Width option, you can achieve even more flexibility, as it allows you to run multiple band widths on the same machine.
Branding by Banding model
The stainless steel model with positioning technology is referred to as the Branding by Banding model. Thanks to the combination of stainless steel, positioning technology, and optional printing technology, this machine is the most flexible labelling and bundling machine on the market. A well-designed and well-positioned band strengthens the appeal of your product on the shelf.

Just that bit more…
SHOWTAB is designed to give you just that bit more.
To replace bags, adhesive labels and other complex packaging with a recyclable single material – no adhesives are required. Add extra information, highlight, branding, promotions or coding.
› Opportunity for highlighting branding, promotions and coding
› Band single and multiple products
› Provides easy access to codes for quick scanning
› In the same material as the band making recycling simpler
› No adhesives
› Plain or preprinted to match or to contrast with the band itself up to full colour preprint on one or both sides
› Print variables during application
Reducing the amount of packaging and labelling used is now a must for us all
Bandall has developed the SHOWTAB so that bags, multiple adhesive labels and other complex packaging can be replaced by a single 1-step solution with extra print space.
No adhesives are required for Bandall’s UCS (Ultra Clean Seal). Eco friendly options are available, such as biodegradable, recyclable and compostable banding materials.
1-step process – maximum print
Banding and the SHOWTAB are of the same material and can be plain or pre-printed up to full colour. It is optional to print variables onto the banding material in as many positions over the full length and width as required. This is done seamlessly during the banding process.
Applying the band around single or multiple products, sealing on the SHOWTAB and printing onto the banding is done in just 1 step. There is no interruption, slow down or down time for printing onto the band.
Multi-Width option
Multiple band widths on one arch
The Multi-Width option allows you to adjust the banding machine to a number of other band widths in no time. Simply add or remove components, like the channel reducer, to or from the arch, change the banding material, and you are ready to go! A machine running 100 mm material, can now be adjusted to, for example, 90 mm or 75 mm by using these reducers. Or a machine using a width of 75 mm can then be adjusted to 60 mm or 48 mm. This way the already flexible Bandall machine is even more flexible.
Unique band feed-through system
The way in which our machines guide the banding material to the banding arch is unique on the market. Thanks to the vacuum feed-through system and the Ultra Clean Seal system (UCS ), you can be assured of a smooth, fast, and clean banding process. An additional advantage of this, is that the machine has fewer wearing parts compared to similar machines on the market. It is also the only machine on the market that can process materials starting from 35 mµ.
Fully Automatic Banding
The Bandall fully automated banding machines are designed for high production volumes and higher speeds in automated processes. Depending on your product specifications and the way in which the product must be guided to the banding arch, Bandall offers four basic models that each individually can be developed further as specials, multi-head machines and other fully automated tailor-made configurations.
The Bandall V-series
The ultimate in speed and precision
This renewed line has been developed for even higher production speeds, precision, flexibility, and accessibility. High quality control technology, combined with Servo techniques, lead to banding speeds of 40 bands per minute, or more.
Tailor made
We build your fully automated banding machine on the foundation of the standard machine, based on various standardized sizes and modules. From there, the machines can further be customized, depending on how your product must be guided through the banding process.
Accurate infeed, feed-through and outfeed
Functional (servo-driven) pushers ensure a perfect positioning towards the banding arch. In addition, various infeed and outfeed options are available, such as powered roller conveyors, food grade conveyor belts, etc.
Which fully automatic machine fits your production process?
To decide which machine fits you best, we advise you to get in touch, as all advice fully depends on your poduct and the way it leaves your production process.
Possible solutions are:
